New Generation of Rotator Cuff Repair Has Arrived

Dr. Geoffrey Stone is pleased to offer the innovative Tendon Seam™ Rotator Cuff Repair System, an advanced arthroscopic technique designed to improve the strength and stability of rotator cuff repairs while supporting earlier rehabilitation for appropriate patients.
Unlike conventional repair techniques that rely on a limited number of larger anchors, the Tendon Seam system uses multiple small anchors connected by a continuous suture pattern. This creates a broad, evenly distributed repair that helps reduce stress at individual fixation points while maximizing tendon-to-bone contact.
Laboratory testing has demonstrated that the repair construct provides greater initial strength and substantially less gap formation than many traditional repair methods. These characteristics are intended to create a more stable environment for tendon healing and may allow carefully selected patients to begin guided shoulder motion sooner under their surgeon's supervision.
